Field devices are the IoT hardware and the handheld apps your operators already carry. The rules engine turns a raw read into a record your ERP can trust, and it is yours to change: most customers adapt a workflow with about twenty lines of Python on the dashboard.

Get all three right at the moment the goods move and the record is true. Miss one and you are back to reconciling spreadsheets.

Identity
A QR, RFID or NFC mark on the crate, pallet, carton or SKU unit - single-use or multi-use, read off the item itself.
Quantity
Weight from the RS232 scale already bolted to your floor, from 100 g to 100 tonnes, with moisture-loss estimation for the geography and the season.
Context
Supplier, operator, site and time, carried by an offline-first mobile app and a business-rules engine that syncs to SAP, Zoho, ERPNext and others.
